Artist’s Statement:

This painting was Inspired by the visual lyrics of Kevin Walker, worship pastor at Pantego Bible
Church: “With your left hand, hold back the anger of my enemies. With your right hand,
rescue me." This painting reveals the shield of Power I have through relationship with Almighty
God.  He’s protector of all, my Tower of strength.  Juxtaposed to the gentle hand of the One
that loves me intensely.  It’s sweet to be cupped in His gentle hand.

Artist’s Statement:

The juxtaposition of the word perfect with an imperfect array of red swirls reminds
me of the irony of God’s perfect salvation for man.  It’s a strange way to save the
world.  But it’s His way.  And it is perfect.

The first inspiration came from realizing that three bloodstains would be left on the
backside of the cross.  Three stood out.  Three as in Trinity.  Each swirl similar – yet
unique.  The Triune God is perfect for my needs.

Artist’s Statement

Pace of life is frenetic, frantic.  Good things.  Bad
things.  They whir by.  My eyes are blurry from
the speed of life going by.  But I can find a calm
place where I can unpack my worries.  Tell Him
my inner heart’s woes.  It’s at the feet of Jesus.
And there as I talk with Him and walk with Him, a
circle of peace comes round me.  The world goes
by.  But He and I stop for a chat and He brings
me peace.

This paletted canvas calls me to stop.  Seek His
face.  And know peace

Artist’s Statement:
Based on Psalm 16, this painting calls me to count
my blessings.  To be thankful with all that God
has placed inside my “backyard.”  A real estate
survey provides the abstract metaphor of looking
at the goodness God has packed on my lot.  All
that good stuff sits inside the boundary lines he
made fall in pleasant places.
