Artist’s Statement
Pace of life is frenetic, frantic. Good things. Bad
things. They whir by. My eyes are blurry from the
speed of life going by. But I can find a calm place
where I can unpack my worries. Tell Him my inner
heart’s woes. It’s at the feet of Jesus. And there
as I talk with Him and walk with Him, a circle of peace
comes round me. The world goes by. But He and I
stop for a chat and He brings me peace.
This paletted canvas calls me to stop. Seek His
face. And know peace

The simple lyrics of "Meet With Me" written by

reminds me that God is waiting for my invitation to
come fill my heart and my home. All I have to do is
humbly ask Him. And he comes rushing in, cooling,
calming, restoring.

Artist’s Statement:
The traditional hymn “Spirit of the Living God, Fall
fresh on me” reminds me that everyday, I need to
ask for the renewing of my mind. Seeking Him,
cleanses me. Refreshes me. Calms me. “Fall
Fresh” calls me to my daily time with God. Rises up
my praise to God and he returns a joy-filled rain on
me.

Genesis 1:2 “Now the earth was formless and
empty, darkness was over the surface of the
deep., and the Spirit of God was hovering over
the waters,”
He's the profound presence. He set it all in
motion. And I can have His impact on my life?
Lord God, take what is formless and empty in me
and hover over it to create what You desire.
Hover over me. I want your hovering.
